Mr Sariang Marong is General Manager of New World Investors and USA representative of HI. Sariang went to the City University of Seattle and graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration, with emphasis on project management. He is currently pursuing his Masters of Arts in Organizational leadership with Gonzaga University, graduating in May 2012. He works for the United States Department of Energy, Bonneville Power Administration, as a Public Utilities Specialist, with his duties including work with Realtime traders in acquiring transmission and sending power throughout the United States and Canada.

East and North Africa

Mohamed Abdullah Hafeeze is HI's representative in East and North Africa and is General Manager of Sand Metals (Sudan) Ltd. He is a technical specialist with more than 24 year's experience in the field of fisheries, food industry and project management. Recently he worked with the UNDP as international consultant for food quality and safety and also as a lecturer at Sudan University of Science & Technology. He has also worked for the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa as a Technical Consultant for West African countries to help their food industry comply with the principles of food hygiene & safety. Mr Hafeeze was employed in Saudi Arabia for seven years, working with reputable companiesaffiliated to the Arab League. He is a member of many technical committees in the public and private sectors.

Mauritania

Ahmed Mohamedou is HI's representative in Mauritania. He has a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Reims Champagne Ardenne (France), and Master's degrees in actuarial science from the Free University of Bruxelles and in Finance from Saint Luis University. He specializes in risk and stochastic finance and has worked for several banks in Europe and Africa: namely Fortis, Belgolaise and Generale du Banque de Mauritanie. He now heads his own businesses: MCA (Mauritanienne pour le conseil et l'audit), a partner of BDO International, Servisud, Speed'as, SMMCI (Société Mauritano - Marocaine pour le Commerce International) and Global Trade. He also teaches part-time at the University of Nouakchott.

Mohamed Hamahoullah is Project Coordinator of HI. He has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in English literature from the University of Nouakchott, and a diploma in Islamic Studies from the Islamic Institute. He has worked as Editor of the only English language newspaper in Mauritania (Peace Newspaper) and Accounting and Translation Officer at Marble Sarl. He is presently Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Kinross Tasiast Mauritania Ltd.
